While we're on the subject, thank you to all the players that helped me out in rearranging the matches to other venues and made it possible for the comp to keep going. I can only apologise, not that it was my fault, to Matt Berridge who couldnt make it to the rearranged venue to play. Considering I only found out at 8.10pm that the Bull was unavailable i think we managed quite well. Apparently the landlord was told by the Bull captain there wasnt any matches there that night but having spoken to him, he tells me noone asked him. Just a shame we didnt make the rules idiot proof, i personally didnt think there was a need to tell a venue we would be using them when most of their team were in the comp. I presumed someone from the team would tell them. |

Paul Prickett winning 4-2 against Dave 'Nuff' Hall played at the Bull. scores tied at 2-2 dave came up dry and paul obliged and cleared for 3-2 lead then what looked like going to a decider Dave rattled the black for Paul to clear and take the match.
